The Dark
It started in the dark. Some seasons are heavier than anyone can see from the outside — quiet battles, old hurts, pain that gets there before the morning does. For years I made things under the name Create Away The Pain, because that's exactly what making was: a way to move the hurt somewhere outside of my body.

The Making
Clay under fingernails at 2am. Resin curing on the windowsill like slow amber. Stickers, trays, beads strung one by one while the world slept. Making something with your hands doesn't fix everything — but it gives the ache somewhere to go, and what comes out the other side is proof you survived the night.

The Light
Create After Dark was born from that ritual. Every piece here was made in a hard hour and finished anyway. When you hold one, you're holding a small piece of that fight — a reminder that you are not alone in yours, and that the dark was never the end of the story.
